Bernhard Kaempfer

Bernhard Kaempfer nasceu na cidade de Ctar em 2804. Depois de uma infância sem história é admitido no Colégio de Mecânica em Brüllouse onde se destaca como sendo um dos melhores alunos de sempre. Termina o colégio de 2823 e com um desgosto amoroso aceita uma comissão de 10 anos no Exército do Ar. Após recruta na base da Península Vermelha, é transferido para zona de batalha na Reino Ontar onde serve primeiro como artilheiro num A1 e mais tarde como piloto. As suas capacidades em mecânica são notadas no fim da guerra e é transferido para um centro de investigação perto de Brüllouse. Participa no desenho do A3 - Bomber Zeppelin e é-lhe dada a autoria do A00 Fighter. Com o fim da comissão em 2834 deixa o Exército do Ar e entra numa companhia de concepção de veículos civis, a OzCraft. Após três anos como funcionário, deixa a OzCraft para se tornar num, nas palavras dele, "inventor independente de veículos". Em dois anos torna-se conhecido no meio pelo desenho de pequenos veículos, mas é em 2840 com o desenho e construção do Free Spirit para o polémico Dr. L.P. Anicet III que se torna conhecido. Durante os anos seguintes desenvolve veículos aéreos, terrestres e até submergíveis. Destacam-se o L44 - Live Wheel construído para o Exército do Ar, o W1 - Explorer e o W2 - Torpsen, os primeiros veículos a explorar o fundo do mar, A9 - Ornithopter, entre outros. Apesar de ser conhecido por Professor, nunca leccionou.
